Who we are
QuizPigeon provides software for building and hosting quizzes. This policy describes how QuizPigeon handles information in the product today. It is a working draft for teams evaluating the service.
Account data (quiz creators)
When you create an account, we process the details needed to run the service, for example your email address, authentication identifiers, billing status where applicable, and product usage needed to operate your workspace.
Quiz configuration & creator content
Quizzes you build (questions, results, branding, integrations, and related settings) are stored so we can render your quiz and provide authoring features. You control what you publish.
Quiz visitors and leads
When someone takes a published quiz, we may process technical data needed to deliver the experience (for example device or session identifiers used for reliability and product analytics). If you enable lead capture, we store the fields you configure (such as email and name) together with the quiz context needed to operate features like alerts and exports.
Quiz answers and results
We process answers and derived results so we can score quizzes, show outcomes, send transactional communications you configure, and improve reliability. Retention details may evolve; contact us if you need a specific retention posture for your account.
Lead capture & webhooks
If you connect integrations (for example webhooks), you direct us to share lead-related payloads with endpoints you control. You are responsible for those destinations and their privacy practices.
Result emails
When enabled for a quiz, we may send transactional email to a participant about their result. These messages are tied to the quiz flow, not a general marketing list.
Cookies, pixels, and analytics IDs you add
QuizPigeon may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the authoring app and player. Separately, you may configure third-party measurement (for example Meta Pixel or Google Analytics 4 identifiers) on your quizzes. When you do, those providers may process data under their own terms, and you are responsible for lawful use, notices, and consents that apply to your visitors and customers.
Processors & subprocessors
We use vendors to run QuizPigeon. Depending on features you use, this can include infrastructure and database providers (such as Supabase), payment providers (such as Lemon Squeezy / Stripe-class flows where applicable), email delivery (such as Resend), product analytics, and AI providers where you invoke AI-assisted features. Vendor lists and details may change as the product matures.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where we or our vendors operate. Those transfers are part of providing the service.
Security
We implement reasonable safeguards appropriate to a young product, but no online service is perfectly secure.
Your choices, access, and deletion
For account-level requests (access, correction, export, or deletion), contact us using the email on this page or the Help form. We may need to verify your request. Some records may be retained where law or legitimate business needs require it.
Updates
We may update this page as the product changes. Material changes should be reflected here with a reasonable notice path for customers where required.
